Millionaire Farmer of India Awards celebrates exceptional farmers who have demonstrated remarkable success in productivity and profitability by adopting advanced technologies and modern farming techniques. This initiative aims to inspire the broader agricultural community by showcasing these outstanding achievements.

The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways; Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member of NITI Aayog and Chairman of the Institute of Economic Growth; and Shri SP Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, along with other prominent officials.

This prestigious program honored more than 1,200 farmers across 300 distinct categories at district, state, and national levels. Recognized categories encompassed diverse areas of agriculture, such as horticulture, spice cultivation, poultry farming, and dairy production, highlighting excellence across the sector.

India Vetiver Foundation (IVF) collaborated with Krishi Jagran to highlight the significance of vetiver farming during the prestigious Millionaire Farmer of India event. IVF facilitated nominations in the vetiver category, resulting in eight distinguished Vetivarians being honored. Among the awardees was Shri Shyam Goenka, a renowned vetiver expert from Nepal, celebrated for his lifelong contributions to the field.

A dedicated Vetiver Dialogue session was held during the event, providing a platform to discuss the transformative potential of vetiver. Dr. C. K. Ashok Kumar introduced the India Vetiver Foundation to the audience, showcasing its initiatives and impact. Esteemed vetiver farming experts, Shri Patanjali Jha and Shri Shyam Goenka, shared their insights and experiences, emphasizing the role of vetiver in sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.
